The gunman Stark escapes from a cell and kills some men of a rich Mexican fazendero, who does not kill him but asks him to bring back his son Fidel, who is now committing robberies with the gang of a former soldier of the Civil War. Stark catches up with him and captures him, but the boy does everything he can to escape him, sometimes succeeding, only to be caught again. Stark, too, however, took his chances because some did not appreciate his behaviour during the war.
