Nando, a clerk dissatisfied with his tedious job, escapes from his daily routine during the night, diving into reading a mystery novel and, from there, into a world of fantasy. One day, the arrival of an inspector in the office changes the game: Dr Jacobetti, demanding and passionate about her work. Hated by her subordinates, the woman becomes the object of the dreams and love of the protagonist, who tries to woo her.
